under construction… in the coming weeks we’ll begin posting notes about what needs doing along the trail, so that anyone who has a bit of time and some energy to help out can get out there and do just that… and know what needs doing. stay tuned! and in the meantime, just get out and walk and watch and enjoy the shade of the Trail!
in general, trail volunteers will be helping with the following:
- removing invasives
- mulching trail and maybe park trees
- picking up trash along the trail
- getting out and enjoying the trail, being a positive presence
- reporting issues to volunteer steward to report to park district
